Gallstones are solid particles that form from bile cholesteron and bilirubin in the gallbladder.  The gallbladder is a small peal-shaped saclike organ in the upper right part of the abdomen.  It is located under the liver.  The gallbladder is part of the biliary system, which includes the liver and the pancreas.  The biliary system, among other functions, transprots bile and digestive enzymes. Bile is a fluid made by the liver to help in the digestion of fats.  When we eat a high-fat, high-cholesterol meal, the gallbladder contracts and injects bile into the small intestine via the small tube called the bile duct.  The bile then assists in the digestive process. What a painful experience!!!!

Cholesterol stones make up of all the gallstones.  They form when there is too much cholesterol in the bile.                                   Pigment stones form when there is excess bilirubin in the bile.

Anything that increases the level of cholesterol in the blood increases the risk of gallstones.  Losing weight rapidly seems to increase the risk of gallstones and so does skipping meals.  Obesity is a risk factor for gallstones.  Eating a fatty or greasy meal can precipitate the symptoms of gallstones.

  • To avoid gallstones give your gallbladder a rest by the intake of clear liquid for a day or two.
  • Avoid fatty and greasy meals and
  • try not to get overweight
  • Do not skip a meal and try to lose weight on a healthy pase

Drink applecider vinegar (with the mother) in the mornings (1 Tablespoon in 100ml of water or apple juice) to disolve gallstones.  Use in combination with Naturo's Liver detox.
